Sakura
Spring in Japan is the season for sakura, cherry blossoms. The news TV programs map the progress of the blooming every day.
This year, thanks to higher temperatures, the sakura are early by 2 weeks on average.

Waiting for its trees to bloom, the park next door is ready for the drinking and singing parties that are the real meaning of "sakura watching", and next week should see wild times!
