Views of Mont Fuji:

The highest peak in Japan is also an active volcano. The last time its voice was heard was 1708.

On a clear day, Fuji-san as it is called in Japanese, is visible from Tokyo. This view is from the Ohtaku campus of the Tokyo Institute of Technology:
